- Sangnovese- This is another Italian wine which has a fresh fruity taste. This type if red wine goes particularly well with lasagna, spaghetti and any other dish served with red tomato sauce. It is also best served Luke-warm with your meals.
- Shiraz or Syrah- these are names describing wine made by the same king if wine grape. These types of wines are known for their spicy flavors, they match up with spicy foods such as Mexican foods and Indian foods. These are best served warm or at least room temperature.
- Red Zinfandel- this is the most popular type of red wine in America with a spicy fruity flavor. It goes particularly well with fun foods such as pizza, and hamburger. It even tastes good with tomato sauces. Because zinfandels are so light some people may drink it with just about any meal type.
